Verdad PowerYour competitor may be paying less

You may think the going rate for electricity is the same for everyone... |
|||
Business owners "in the know" use the power of free market competition to get the lowest possible rates for their business electricity (even though the low rates aren't advertised). That means your competitor's overhead may be lower than yours. |

But you can reverse this situation now because now you are also "in the know."
You may think your only choice is to pay the going rate and try to trim costs somewhere else. But the truth is, you could be eligible for unadvertised wholesale electricity pricing.
And if you use over 300,000 kWh per year, you can save even more. (If you have multiple buildings or meters, you can combine their usage and save even more than if you price them individually.)
The trick is in knowing what each commercial electricity provider offers and how to negotiate their best price. And with over 100 registered Retail Electric Providers in Texas, it can be a complicated process. You could spend days just researching which providers serve your location.
And that's how Verdad Power can help you.
We have access to business electricity providers all over Texas; each with different strengths and offering different energy plans.
We know what they offer to their "best" customers, and we know how to negotiate on your behalf.
In short, we can save you thousands of dollars per year.
All you have to do is contact us by telephone or on our Secure Contact Page. Then we'll go out and find what's available in your location and for your power usage.
"I'd like to pay less for my company's electricity, but I'm currently on contract with another provider. Can I get out of the contract?"
You can, but you'll be hit with an early termination fee, which would wipe out the savings. What you can do is lock in a new low rate with a future start date that coincides with the end date of your current contract.
Many energy companies will allow customers to secure a rate as far out as a year, so when your current contract expires, you'll automatically be switched to the new rate.
We'll be glad to help you make those arrangements.
Why would I want to lock in a rate right now?
That's a good question, since commercial electricity rates go up and down just like the stock market.
No one knows what business electricity rates will be in the future. But financial gurus are predicting that all electricity rates are going nowhere but up in the current political climate. The possibility of Cap and Trade may drive prices through the ceiling.
A warning:
Before you lock in a future start date, but sure you know the end date of your current contract. If you don't have a copy, call your provider and ask them to send you one. You don't want to miss it and be subjected to an early termination fee.
If you want to cancel your current contract, first do the math and see how much you'll save compared to the cost of the early termination fee. Call your current business energy supplier and ask them to email, fax, or mail you a statement showing the termination fee. Do not rely on a verbal answer.
Don't wait until electric rates have gone up.
If you're a manufacturer, you know that the cost of industrial electricity has a profound effect on the cost of goods sold. And even in a retail or office setting, business electricity adds greatly to your overhead costs.
